CNFans browsing FAQ

These are the questions that come up once browsing starts getting a little messy.

Why start with categories?

Because most decisions get easier when similar items sit next to each other.

Is the biggest list always the best place to browse?

No. A broad list helps when you are still exploring. Once you know you want shoes, hoodies, bags, or another clear product type, browsing by section is easier. The categories page helps with that shift.

What page should a first-time visitor open?

If things still feel broad, start with the guide. If you already know the product type, open the matching section or one of the focused pages such as shoes, hoodies, or bags.

How do you tell whether a listing is worth saving?

Look at measurements, photo consistency, obvious pricing anomalies, and how that listing compares with its closest neighbors. The short version is on the quality checks page.

Where do the category links go?

They go to matching category pages on FindsIndex. Once you know the product type, that is the easier place to keep browsing.
